Tifton Topix/Craigslist replacement » Parrot missing (Green Quaker) in Tifton from S. Florida
Hello everyone. My name is Andrea and I desperately need your help to find my baby "Kiwi." Kiwi is a 14 year old Quaker Parrot who celebrated her 15th birthday on July 13th. I live in Coral Springs, FL and I was visiting my family in Tifton, GA. To my horror, Kiwi escaped a newly constructed oudoor aviary. I am devastated and desperate to get my baby back! She is spoiled and has never been in the wild or Georgia! She must be terrified, hungry and thirsty 🙏🏽. If you say "Kiwi", she knows her name. She also likes "Peekaboo", "Breakfast" and "Night Night." If found after the 18th of July, I will travel back or arrange transport back to her family. Dr. Turner shared office space with Dr. Jim Kirkpatrick, a local surgeon, close to the First Methodist Church on 12th Street. Because of a rapidly growing medical practice and new hospital facilities, additional practice space and physicians were needed. In 1968, five acres of land across from Tift General Hospital were purchased and the new Tifton Medical Clinic was built, along with a second building, Tifton Pediatric Clinic, owned by Dr. William Bridges. In 1968, Dr. Robert Wight joined the practice, followed by Dr. Richard McCullough in 1976 and Dr. Steve Rigdon in 1981. While many have followed, these physicians laid the foundation for the progressive facilities and health care that are the hallmark of this medical practice. By 1994, the clinic had grown to 14 physicians and again needed additional office space. The now renamed Affinity Clinic moved into its present location on Highway 41 in Tifton in 1997. The group now includes over 20 physicians and is still expanding, right along with South Georgia. From medical sub-specialties like cardiology, gastroenterology, pulmonology and critical care to newer services, Affinity Clinic provides South Georgia residents with specialty care close to home.
